CHRISTMAS EDITION
Merry Christmas, everyone!!! This is going to be a comparatively short blog post. (And all God’s people said . . .) YOU BETTER NOT SAY AMEN!!! XD Yeah, don’t you dare!!! I see every one of you!!!!! Big brother is watching!!! 👀 Or would that be big sister? Hmmm. Even better. KINZ AND LLIS ARE WATCHING!!! Anywayyyy . . . we decided to be more festive this post. I’m Llis. 😉 This is Kinzie! I’m red because green happens to be my least favorite color lol. I hope you all have a very merry Christmas!
Isaiah 9:6 “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”
I can’t even imagine why Jesus would ever want to come to Earth and die the death that he did, all out of love for us. He truly is wonderful!
The True Meaning of Christmas
It's the holiday where we give away gifts and deck the halls,
But sometimes we forget the real reason for it all.
Snowmen and Santa Claus, while they are fun,
They are not the meaning of Christmas, the birth of God's Son.
O little town of Bethlehem, how little did you know
That the Messiah our Savior was born long ago.
Jesus Christ, Prince of Peace, in a manger was laid.
With swaddling clothes by His mother arrayed.
Hark the herald angels sing of the Messiah’s birth
Proclaiming the news of their King to all the earth.
News of His birth was declared o’er every hill
Just as Christians should be announcing Him still
Joy to the world because our risen Messiah is King!
Wonderful, Counsellor, our almighty Father is everlasting.
One day He’ll return to take us with Him too,
But for now we eagerly await our home beyond the blue.
