Walking by Faith ~ Looking On the Brighter Side.

Good day, and siku njema, everyone!

In all honesty, this world in which we live in can be quite the pitiful sight at times. Between warring countries and a worldwide pandemic, things can seem quite bleak at times.

Then, add in destructive rioting, twisted government, taxes, and abortion, and you've got a horrible, terrible, sad world.

Although God's word foretells and warns us of wars and devastation, it also promises that God has the power to make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.

• "You are going to hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, because these things must take place, but the end is not yet." (Matthew 24:6)

• "He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men, yet they cannot fathom the work that God has done from beginning to end." (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

Warring countries?

A peaceful God.

• “Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Don’t let your heart be troubled or fearful." (John 14:27)

Worldwide pandemic?

The God of healing.

• "I will give you back your health and heal your wounds,” says the LORD..." (Jeremiah 30:17)

A horrible, terrible, sad world?

God promises to create a new world.

A better world.

A world without any hurt or pain.

A perfect world.

• "Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among the people, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.” (Revelation 21:1-4)

In summary, friends, Jesus is coming back, and will restore everything to perfection. What a wonderful thing to be looking forward to!
