Hello World Changers!! It is May 24th and almost summer!! Some of ya'll slackers are already off but us hard workers are still slaving over here!! ;) Ya'll, I'm going to be honest over here, being a homeschooler, means that I'm done when I finish school. So, I get up as early as I can handle and do school as fast as possible. That means that, sometimes, school takes place over my time with God. Whether it's reading, sports, school, or friends, sometimes, stuff that we enjoy-or even don't enjoy-can get in the way of my daily time with God. Mark 1:35 says that in the early morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house, and went away to a secluded place, and was praying there. Jesus rose up early to be with his heavenly father. So, what I have started to do is to rise up early with God and to pray over everything. Because even though God knows what you are wanting before you even want it, he likes to be asked. We need to ask the holy spirit to come into us daily because we NEED the Holy Spirit daily because the Holy Spirit gives us peace and hope and patience and courage, which is something we DEFINITELY need in this crazy world. Remember when you lost your temper at your little sibling because they broke something in your room or left their dishes in the sink AGAIN even though the dishwasher was empty??? (Not that I’m bitter or anything. ;)) The point is, the Holy Spirit will work through us so that next time we will think twice before blowin’ our top. Okay, getting back on topic; our priorities need to be rearranged so that God comes first. God ALWAYS need to come first Mathew 6:33 says; seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. We get the privilege to come to him, but Satan will do whatever it takes to get between you and God. God alone will provide, the very reason we have books, cars, or whatever it is we love, is because of him. The bible says to worship God and to only serve him (Mathew 4:10) While I’m not saying that, in order to correctly worship God, we need to get up at 4AM but, in the morning, set time apart to worship him. Praying over your day meditating on him will give you peace. Proverbs 3;5-6 says to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Even if it’s a simple prayer like, LORD guide my path. God will accept it. He alone can give us peace in the midst of the storm.
Dear Jesus,
The Bible says that you will instruct us and teach us the way we should go, that we will always have the Holy Spirit in us, with us. So, LORD, guide us. The future is so unclear, and what we can see isn’t looking good but God, the bible says in John 14: 26 says that the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. The Holy Spirit will comfort us in times in tribulation. The bible also says that you will never leave us nor forsake us. So, if the world turns its back on us, you will be there. You will comfort us. Help us to come to you daily, to worship you in the morning, to praise you. Lord, help us to love you. To worship you the way you deserve. Thank you for these wonderful people on bju blogs. Thank you that we don’t have to hide the fact that we are Christians, that we have to freedom to praise you in public. Help this week to go well, put your shield around us all as we go out into the world, I know some people are graduating and probably going off to college, just put your arm around them. Hold them close to you. Hold us all within your arms as school ends and summer begins. Thank you for summer break, help it go well for everyone. Bless everyone as they are traveling around. Thank you for the blessings you shower down on us.
In Jesus Name,
Amen.
Amen!
